Enhancing Natural Beauty, One Brow at a Time
FAQS
Microblading
IS TRADITIONAL MICROBLADING AND ONE PASS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?
No, Microblading is generally not considered painful. We take every precaution to ensure your comfort, including the application of a pre numbing cream to the brow area. This step significantly minimizes any discomfort, making the experience relaxing and pain-free for most clients.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR MICROBLADING?
Determining if you're a suitable candidate for Microblading largely depends on several factors related to your skin and natural brows. The below is what we take into consideration:
1. Skin Type: Microblading works best on dry, normal and combination skin types. If you have an oily forehead, microblading may blur or fade quickly, resulting in frequent touchups.
2. Brow Hair Texture: This technique is ideal for individuals with fine to medium brow hair thickness, or if you have a mix of dense patches and sparse areas.
3. Skin Thickness and Elasticity: If your skin is thicker or has significiant elasticity, traditional microblading techniques might be more appropriate vs the one pass technique.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS OF MICROBLADING LAST?
The longevity of your Microblading results can vary, but typically, you can expect to enjoy your beautifully microbladed brows for about 1-2 years. The duration before needing a colour refresh depends on several factors, including how well you care for your brows post-procedure and how your body processes the pigment.

I have learned in this business to use pigments that are designed to fade more naturally over time. My focus is ensuring that your brows always look the most natural and that over time, your brows do not develop into a solid, grey brows that can occur with longer-lasting pigments. Such issues often make future touch-ups challenging or even impossible.

The pigments I select are chosen with your long-term beauty and satisfaction in mind. They ensure that your brows not only look fantastic immediately after the procedure but also age gracefully, maintaining a natural appearance over time. When it's time for a colour refresh, I'm here to restore the vibrancy and definition, keeping your brows looking their best.
ARE THERE ANY RISKS OR SIDE EFFECTS ASSOCIATED WITH MICROBLADING?
Like any cosmetic procedure, Microblading does come with some potential risks and side effects, but are minimal when preformed by a trained professional like myself. The most common side effects include:
1. Redness and Minor Swelling: Immediately following the procedure, you may experience some redness and minor swelling around the brow area. This is normal and typically subsides within a few hours to a day.
2. Sensitivity: Some clients may experience sensitivity or a slight tenderness in the treated area, which is also a normal reaction and should decrease fairly quickly.
3. Temporary Darkening of the Brows: Initially, your brows may appear darker than the final result. This is a normal part of the healing process, and the colour will lighten to its intended shade as your brows heal.
4. Risk of Infection: Although rare, there is a small risk of infection, which is why its crucial to follow the aftercare instructions closely to ensure proper healing. Avoid makeup, on the brow and forehead region and contact with dirt and dust for 10 days.

It is important to note that I take all necessary precautions to minimize these risks. I follow strict sanitation and safety protocols, use high quality pigments, and provide detailed aftercare instructions to each client. Prior to the procedure, we'll have a consultation where I'll assess your skin type and discuss any allergies or sensitivities to ensure that Microblading is suitable for you.

If you have specific concerns or a medical condition that you believe might affect the procedure or healing process, please let me know during our initial consultation. My priority is your safety and satisfaction with this procedure.
I HAVE DONE MICROBLADING BEFORE, HOW LONG DO I NEED TO WAIT BEFORE I DO IT AGAIN?
For brows that have been previously tattooed or undergone permanent makeup, the success of my microblading technique largely depends on how faded the existing pigment is. Ideally, the previous work should be faded by about 70-90% for microblading to be effective. If you have previous permanent makeup, I strongly advise sending a picture of your brows and having a detailed consultation before booking an appointment. This allows me to assess the state of your brows and determine the best course of action to achieve the desired results.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY BROWS AFTER MY MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT?
Maintaining your brows after Microblading is crucial for ensuring the longevity and beauty of the results. Here are some key aftercare tips:
1. Use SPF 40 Daily: Protect your brows from the sub by applying sunscreen with SPF 40 or higher every day. This helps prevent fading and maintains the colour integrity of the microblading results.
2. Avoid Strong Sun Exposure: Wear hats and sunglasses when you're out in strong sunlight to provide extra protection for your brows.
3. Be Careful with Skin Care Products: Avoid using chemical peels, retinols, and other anti-aging products on or around your brows. These products can accelerate fading and affect the longevity of the microblading.
4. Foundation Caution: Try to avoid applying foundation over your brows, as it can dull and lighten the colour. If foundation does get on your brows during application, gently clean it off using a Q-tip.
